HARR-IS Amazing, created by nurse practitioner, Dr. Trishna Harris.

I graduated from The University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC) with my Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree in 1999 and began my career as a registered nurse in labor and delivery. My career as a registered nurse, includes working in labor and delivery units in Illinois, Wisconsin, and California for 12 years. I completed my Master of Science degree with certifications in Nurse Midwifery and Women’s Health in 2008 and my Doctorate in Nursing Practice in 2015. My career as a certified nurse midwife/women’s health nurse practitioner in a community health center environment, has allowed me to serve and care for women and their families in all aspects of life.

This new adventure, HARR-IS Amazing, has allowed me to share my handmade creations with not only my family, but to anyone who is interested in products made by hand from someone who is compassionate and caring about what goes into the products and what does not go into them (preservatives). I have been making my own hair and body oil blend for many years for myself, son, mother, sister, niece, nephews, and mother-in-law; all who have sincerely supported me. In 2021, during the COVID-19 pandemic while making a batch of oil blend for family, my son and I came up with the name HARR-IS Amazing (a play on our last name🤗). However, in 2023, God inspired me to expand to a broader audience, EVERYONE! This led me to the public announcement in August 2023, of HARR-IS Amazing. Since then, my sister inspired me to make handmade rose water. After extensive research, HARR-IS Amazing added Rose Water products, which has been extremely successful!
Finally, the natural aluminum-free handmade deodorant has been the longest running handmade product. I have been making and using my own natural deodorant for over a decade; a recipe shared with me from a good nurse/certified nurse midwife friend. My prayer is that these handmade products (along with added additions…Rose Hyaluronic Serum, Body Butter, Vaginal Moisturizer, His After Shave & Beard Oil….soon to come Brown Sugar Scrub and whatever else God reveals) will be a blessing to you and your family as they have been and will be for me & my family, forevermore.
